In the headline match, John Cena (c) successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk, marking their 15th televised encounter. This match concluded their storied rivalry, with Cena leading the series 7-6, including one No Contest and one Draw.
This event also represented their eighth clash for the WWE Championship, with Cena emerging victorious. During the match, Punk executed a GTS on Cena, but the referee was incapacitated. Punk attempted to summon a new referee, only for Seth Rollins and his faction to intervene. Rollins aimed to cash in his Money in the Bank contract while Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed targeted Punk, with Bronson slamming Punk through the announce table.

Referee Charles Robinson rushed back to the ring, but Cena knocked him down. A confrontation ensued between Cena and Rollins, leading to Cena countering an attack with an AA. The chaos escalated as Bronson and Breakker assaulted Cena, prompting Penta to intervene, with Sami Zayn joining the fray. Penta executed a dive off the ramp to take out Breakker.
Bronson returned to the ring for a Tsunami Splash on Cena, but Punk intervened, pushing him off the top rope, allowing Cena to hit Bronson with an AA and restart the match.
Punk extended a handshake, which Cena accepted, only to deliver a low blow. Punk countered and aimed for the GTS, but Rollins interfered again, striking Punk with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Following this, Rollins delivered a Stomp, allowing Cena to eliminate Rollins from the ring and pin Punk. The event concluded with Cena celebrating his victory, holding the championship high on the ramp.
